Special Potato-Onion mix.

Nothing really special about this dish except that its only served with this dosa. Its a combination of boiled potato and onion without any spice at all !

What you need to have:

1. Cooked potatoes -4

2. Finely chopped onions – 2

3. Salt – To taste

4. Cooking oil – 3-4 Teaspoons

What you do with what you have:

1.Wash, peal and cook potatoes as usual either in the microwave oven or in the cooker till soft. On cooling mash it and is as shown in image above.

2. Wash, peal onions and chop fine and keep it aside.

3. Place a spatula with 3-4 teaspoons of cooking oil in it on medium flame. On heating, add chopped onions from step 2 to it and add required quantity of salt to it and fry till transparent.

Oh I wasnt complaining that it was late (sorry if that sounded like that!), I was merely telling you that I could not check your site for a year after having asked you about it :))
Am making it for breakfast tomorrow -but since my husband is not a big fan of Benne Dose, am making the palya-chutney with set dosas.
    Will definitely keep you updated.
